Our mission is to develop multiple floating offshore wind projects in South Africa, starting with Gagasi which we aim to be the first floating offshore wind project in South Africa. 

Floating Offshore Wind

South Africa is committed to reducing carbon emissions with over 40% by 2025, and the Department of Environmental Affairs believes renewable energy is the most feasible means to achieve this. Increasing our renewable energy supplies requires the addition of more types of energy production to the energy mix. Floating offshore wind power is one of them, and we at GenesisHexicon are ready to develop large-scale floating offshore wind projects.

We work closely with local, provincial, and national stakeholders to maintain and improve the health of the ocean while benefitting and providing green energy to all South Africans.
